White orchid

The white orchid picture which you sent to me for asking its species is quite interesting. It is Pecteilis susanae, common in dry dipterocarp forest. However, now it becomes rare due to habitat disturbing.

First of all, I would like to thank you for the information about Pecteilis susanae. It's tragic news. Habitat destruction is really a serious problem.

By the way, you misspell the word 'white' on the topic.
